Weathervane-50 Weathervane with a 50c floor. Split test started 2026-10-17. The breakdown of Weathervane's first 1,209 trades found all of its profit came from favorites bought at 50c or more (61% win, +8.6% per dollar after fees); favorites under 50c lost money in both Jul-Aug and Sep-Oct. That rule was found by looking back, so this book tests it forward: identical to Weathervane (7am-12:59pm local, favorite differs from the NWS bucket, flat $50 YES, one per city per day, hold to settlement) except it only buys when the ask is between 50c and 65c. Judge on 150+ trades before any real-money decision.
